The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), an attached agency of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), is the lead government agency tasked to protect and promote the welfare and well-being of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their dependents. This includes providing social and welfare services, including insurance coverage, legal assistance, placement assistance and remittance services to OFWs.

The Episcopal Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines provides programs and services to address the growing spiritual, pastoral and social needs of migrants and their families.
